Portadown's Chris Casement wins appeal against six-match ban

Portadown defender Chris Casement will be able to play in the Irish Cup final after winning an appeal against a six-match ban for head-butting.

The former Linfield man had been given the lengthy suspension as a result of an incident during an Irish Premiership match against Dungannon Swifts.

A proposed fight between Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg will not happen soon, according to Frampton's manager and promoter Barry McGuigan.

It was hoped that Belfast's Frampton, the IBF super-bantamweight champion, and Quigg, who holds a portion of the WBA title, would meet this summer.

But McGuigan said Quigg's team would not agree on a 60-40 purse split in favour of Frampton.

England and Wales Cricket 'concern' over domain names

Cricket bosses are "concerned" by the registering of companies and websites with similar names to their own.

The "Cricket Association of England" and "Cricket Control Scotland Limited" are among those registered.

"In the absence of any proper explanation, there is clearly a concern for cricket," an England and Wales Cricket Board spokesperson said.
